Leading off

Welcome friends near and far to the Maggie and Patrick blog. We are spending three weeks abroad on the clichéd, post-college backpacking trip, and will take turns chronicling our visit. We arrived in London Tuesday morning, and from there will spend time in Paris, Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Vienna and Rome before crossing back to the States. Maggie is enjoying her first trip to Europe since emigrating at age 7, and I am making a second trip, the first of which took me around the Emerald Isle post-high school. A flickr account is in the works as well, so you might enjoy a visual tour if our amateur words don’t do justice to the history and beauty of the continent.
